Tecumseh is proud to support Scoreboard Charities, which began as a nonprofit organization to honor those who not only lost a battle with cancer, but more importantly in honor of individuals who survived the disease.
The goal of Scoreboard Charities—a 501c3 charitable foundation— is to win the game against cancer. The foundation is dedicated to raising funds for cancer research. In addition, Scoreboard Charities funds camping opportunities for children fighting the disease. Scoreboard Charities wants to see a cure for cancer in this lifetime, and therefore strives to aide cancer fighting efforts for this to be possible.
Tecumseh is proud to support Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina, whose goal s to feed hungry people by soliciting and distributing food and household items through partner agencies. Second Harvest works to educate people in the community about the nature of and solutions to the problem of hunger.
Second Harvest supplies food throughout a 24 county region of North and South Carolina through a network of over 950 emergency pantries, soup kitchens, homeless shelters and programs for low-income children and seniors.
